In & Out - Pinspire introduces its new rating feature

Aug. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Berlin, August 6, 2012 – Last week, Pinspire GmbH, an online pinboard,
released a new feature that will enhance the experience of its users,
granting them more power over the content displayed on the pages. As of now
both members and visitors alike are able to rate Pins on the site as “in”
or “out”, making Pinspire the first important pinning Website to introduce
such a feature.

Members and visitors can rate the Pins by simply clicking on the star for
“in” and on the broken star for “out”. Both star icons are located in the
bottom corners of each Pin. When members click on either star, they can see
how many people have rated this Pin the same.

Users of the Website were already able to “like”, “comment” and “repin”
images, and now they will decide what is cool, trendy, and inspiring. The
strength of Pinspire already lies within its users’ creativity, their
originality and their keen sense of aesthetics, therefore when the idea of
adding this rating feature was submitted during a brainstorming session
management did not hesitate to implement it.

Members will also have their content put under the spotlight with the new
rating of “in” or “out”, which will prove to be an interesting added value
to an already quite addictive website. Pinspire is working on more features
that will be released in the upcoming months.

Pinspire (www.pinspire.com) was founded in November 2011 and has its
headquarters in Berlin, Germany. It is an online moodboard available in
local languages in over 30 countries. Users can “pin” anything they like,
collect ideas for themselves, and share them with others. Each user can
create a profile on Pinspire where they will then be able to create
numerous albums on various topics using images taken from either the
internet, from their own pictures, or both. Seeing as the link to the
original source of the picture is always displayed, Pinspire is ideally
suited for shopping needs, hair and beauty tutorials and ideas for trendy
looks or party outfits.
