Aug. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Hollywood, CA – LATALK LIVE launches a new transmedia show called THE DAILY SCHMOOZE hosted by Shari Belafonte and Anne-Marie Johnson on Sunday August 5, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Award winning actor Esai Morales will be their first celebrity interview with musical guests The Triple J's a very popular Nigerian pop/inspirational group made up of three sisters, Jemi, Jessi and Jiele. They are a sensation in Nigeria and other African countries.

The second show features Emmy-winning actress Marg Helgenberger. The Daily Schmooze has a light, casual format where celebrity guests are encouraged to speak their minds about life and their current projects. Shari Belafonte The eternally vibrant, international cover girl Shari Belafonte broke into the scene on IF YOU COULD SEE WHAT I HEAR.  She then went onto co-star in the popular series HOTEL and the the supernatural series BEYOND REALITY.

Gracing hundreds of magazine covers worldwide such  as Vogue, Mademoiselle, Harper's Bazaar Germany, Italian Taxi, Self, Essence and Playboy, she was also touted as one of the top leading commercial spokespersons by The Wall Street Journal.  Shari was seen in commercials for Mastercard, Calvin Klein, Diet Coke, Bally's and Lawry's.
She has done voice/overs for Boeing, NASA, Sony Vaio and Lincoln/Mercury.

As a TV hosts her work includes: TRAVELS IN MEXICO AND THE CARIBBEAN (PBS) ESPN'S NEW AMERICAN SPORTSMAN, LIFESTYLES WITH ROBIN LEACH & SHARI BELAFONTE and iNEXT TV'S DESTINATIONS. She's done segments for THE TODAY SHOW, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT and WOMEN2WOMEN on CBS.

Shari will be seen in the soon to be released feature TEACHER OF THE YEAR and is currently in production on the supernatural film PRIMROSE LANE.

Anne-Marie Johnson a Los Angeles native and UCLA graduate, Ms. Johnson continues to have a very busy career on television and in major motion pictures. She is an experienced member of 2 labor unions, holding elected and appointed positions. Ms. Johnson is also involved in local community politics.

Ms. Johnson starred in several successful television series, including, In The Heat of the Night, What’s Happening Now, In Living Color and Melrose Place. For five seasons she portrayed Congresswoman “Bobbie Latham” on CBS’s hit military drama JAG, followed with appearing as “Sharon Upton Farley” on the hit WB comedy Girlfriends. Ms. Johnson starred as “Donna Cabonna” on The Disney Channels hit television series, That’s So Raven and had a recurring role on Tyler

Perry’s TBS hit sitcom, House Of Payne. Ms. Johnson recently guest starred on TNT’s Leverage and USA’s Fairly Legal. She can currently be seen in the independent feature film, About Fifty. Anne-Marie has just completed work on two television comedy pilots, G.A.L’S and The Triple J Project.

Ms. Johnson’s feature credits include Hollywood Shuffle, Strictly Business, Imo Git U Sucka, Robotjox, True Identity, Down in the Delta, Pursuit of Happiness, Legacy Of A Hit Man and L.A. Riots Spectacular.

Ms. Johnson is entering her 15th year as a Screen Actors Guild National Board Officer. For four years she served as Senior Advisor to the President and was elected as SAG’s National 1st Vice President for four terms, making her the first African American to hold that position in the Guild’s 80 year history.
