American Health and Beauty Uses Videos to Educate Consumers and Provide Exposure for Doctors

Through the social media platform YouTube, American Health and Beauty has gained over 118,000 views. The videos have even resulted in exposure on national television for some of their featured doctors.

Most of the websites for major news outlets have heavily incorporated video, with local affiliates following suit. American Health and Beauty, the online magazine that provides consumers with information about cosmetic procedures, is seeing great demand for their videos. The videos available on the American Health and Beauty YouTube channel ( )  have so far gained upwards of 118,000 views. These videos have proven helpful not only for patients with questions about procedures, but also for doctors. Giving doctors the ability to reach unlimited potential viewers through this engaging outlet is helping many connect with patients on a larger scale.

One particular dermatologist featured in an American Health and Beauty video gained national exposure on the Doctor Oz show because a producer had seen our footage. Others have been able to use the videos as content to increase activity on other social media platforms, resulting in improved web presence. From familiarizing patients with doctors and procedures to increasing reach with a new medium, videos seem to be working for American Health and Beauty ( ). With all of the information patients have to sift through, having the technology of video available to deliver concise information is certainly an added bonus for patients and doctors alike.
