Family Law Firm Promotes Community Involvement

One of the partners, Lance Claery stated, "It is important to give back to a community if you want to truly be a part of it." According to partner James Green, he personally has always had a passion for helping people and that it is simply in his nature.

The firm has not only encouraged others to give back, the partners themselves have also donated to charities ranging from the Salvation Army to the YMCA's youth program, to the St. Margaret Charity fund as well as Southern California schools for children. In addition, Attorney James Green has helped with his local community's children's enrichment organization, Adventure Guides, through participating and volunteering his personal time as a chaperone.

This activity is notable in a busy law firm, because it truly shows their dedication and compassion to helping others in the community. Many of the programs they give back and donate to directly benefit and assist children.

One time I bought some plants for our local YMCA to make the environment more appealing; the organization was doing so much for our community and I wanted to do something to give back."

Lance Claery also believes everyone should take time to do something to help their community. He had previously donated his time with Hope Housing. Claery worked in a low income area in Washington, D.C. to help community members build an educational enrichment center for their children. The attorneys believe that through helping the community individuals can develop a stronger sense of one’s self.
