Target Canada vendors must be 100% Electronic Commerce ready by August 10th

Aug. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Banyan Commerce, a leading provider in end to end electronic data interchange (EDI) services is assisting new vendors of Target Canada to become fully EDI compliant and ready. Banyan Commerce has already completed the successful setup and testing for various large Target Canada vendors at very competitive prices.

Target Canada uses the following EDI transactions: 810 Invoice, 850 Purchase Order, 856 Advanced Ship Notice, 864 Text Message, 870 Order Status Report and UCC 128 Barcode Labels. Canadian vendors already trading with Target in the US also require a new EDI setup with Target Canada since there is different technology and systems being used. This full setup needs to be completed by August 10th, 2012 and if not, trading partners can be a significant risk to Target's supply chain as well as possibly put a strain on their business relationships.
