FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Culver City, CA – July 31, 2012 - The transmedia superhero web series “Fury of Solace” is finally back from hiatus, with 16 new episodes in 4 weeks, starting July 30th. Executive Producers Emmett Furey and Matt Hartman continue the story of the supervillain Fury of Solace (played by Furey), who does wrong for the right reasons, targeting unscrupulous politicians and corrupt captains of industry for extermination.  Todd Livingston, author of the award-winning graphic novel “America Jr.”, reprises his role as Max Mason, the CEO who Fury of Solace currently has in his crosshairs.

This new cycle further explores the relationship between Fury of Solace’s alter ego and his girlfriend, the superhero celebrity known as the Orphan (Laurel Rankin), and expands the world by introducing new ensemble cast members Maxwell Glick (“LG15,” “The Lizzie Bennet Diaries”), Damion Poitier (“The Avengers,” “True Blood”), and Stephanie Thorpe (“ElfQuest: A Fan Imagining,” “Shelf Life”).  The duo that brought you the popular song from “Fury of Solace’s” pilot episode has teamed up once again to produce the new original song “Too Good For Me,” featured in the upcoming release.  Fans can also look forward to a new 8-page online comic towards the end of August.

Touted by Girl Gamer as taking narrative fiction “to another level,” “Fury of Solace” is told through live-action video, 8-page online comics, original songs, and in-world video (character vlogs, news reports, etc.).  The series that ARGnet says “masterfully balances the transmedia elements to advance the story” returns with an immersive transmedia experience that’s increased 10-fold, with more than a dozen character Twitter accounts, extensive character blogs, and more.
