Let Your Hair Down At The 9th Annual Festival of the Flutes Food & Wine Celebration

Aug. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Coral Springs, July 31st, 2012: Festival of the Flutes, an organization of volunteers who host a signature event to support local charities in South Florida, is pleased to announce that tickets are now available for their 9th annual event, at The Coral Springs Marriott, Friday, October 19th.  http://www.festivaloftheflutes.com.

The theme this year is “Reds, Whites & Blues”.    As always, there will be the usual high standard of gourmet food sampling, live entertainment, wine tasting, silent and live auctions – so there is sure to be something for everyone to guarantee an exciting night out!    It’s always fun to see how people dress to match the Festival of the Flutes theme each year.  

The list of vendors so far include: Mythos Greek Taverna, Whole Foods, The Melting Pot, CraveRumCakes, Whole Foods, Mad Hatters, Vici Wine and Spirits, World of Beer, Total Beverage Solutions, JD’s Bar and Grill, and Temptations Caterers.   This list is growing weekly.  

Anyone who has been to one of these events in the past knows that this fundraiser is an amazing value, great fun and is definitely for a good cause.  This year the three charities to benefit from this event and they are:  The Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Fund, Harvest Drive, and Kids of Love.  100% of the proceeds are shared amongst the community based not for profits.  

This year to tie in with our Blues theme, Soulfonic, will be providing the live entertainment with a blend of Chicago Blues, Memphis Soul and modern day Rock n’ Roll.  

Approximately 500 people will be in attendance at this indoor extravaganza.  Tickets are available for the VIP Reception starting at 7:00pm and 8pm-midnight for General Admission experience.  This year ticket packages are also available with Hotel accommodations for the evening or entire weekend.
