-- AK Wildlife Cruises has become a corporate member (Wildlife Investor) of the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. The Wildlife Investor scheme encourages local businesses to support the conservation work of the Trust.
Based in Hamble at Universal Marina, AK Wildlife Cruises offer a variety of wildlife, natural history and educational sightseeing tours throughout the year, and the company will be able to work with the Trust to raise public awareness about the marine life found in the waters of the Solent and around the Isle of Wight.
Captain Keith Leeves is a dedicated accredited boat operator with over 30 years experience in the field of wildlife and marine conservation. He says: “Being a Wildlife Investor with the Trust allows us to work closely with people who also share our passion and love for conservation in and around sensitive areas of the Solent and the Isle of Wight. During our wildlife trips, we will be gathering data and sightings of marine and bird life. We encourage all those who read this to come and enjoy a fabulous trip with us, to collect data so that we can pass on sightings to the Trust and other conservation organisations.”
Universal Marina at Hamble offers free car parking and easy access from the M27.
