American Lung Association of the Southwest Names Brad Cahoon as Chairman of thhe Board

July 31, 2012 - PRLog -- SALT LAKE CITY (July 31, 2012) – Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Brad Cahoon, a partner in the Salt Lake City office, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors for the American Lung Association of the Southwest. He will serve as chairman for a period of two years.

The Board of Directors is the governing body responsible for advancing the American Lung Association’s mission in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah where the organization maintains offices and staff.   Founded in 1906, the American Lung Association is the leading organization improving lung health and preventing lung disease through education, advocacy and research. The organizations goals are to reduce tobacco use, especially among youth, improve air quality, and overcome lung diseases.

Cahoon previously served as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Southwest Board for the past two years. He has volunteered his time and talents in serving the American Lung Association for the past 10 years including a stint as Chairman of the Board of the American Lung Association in Utah for one year. Cahoon is an environmental lawyer.  Applying over two decades of litigation, administrative, regulatory and government relations experience, he has a record of resolving difficult challenges for his clients and achieving their business objectives in the areas of environmental, natural resources, water and zoning law.
