Telstream Telecoms announces the start of its NSS7 Ku Band service over Southern Africa

July 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Telstream Telecoms, satellite communication solutions provider, is pleased to announce the start of its new Ku Band satellite service over Southern Africa. The service will utilise the NSS7 Satellite’s Southern African capability and land at a teleport in the Netherlands.
   “We believe we have been able to put together a number of very competitive packages”, said a spokesperson for the company, “this service will complement our existing iDirect satellite offerings”. The service will operate with a 1.2m Ku Band antenna in most regions.
   Countries covered by the new service include South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Angola, Zimbabwe Zambia, Mozambique, Malawi, Madagascar and parts of the DRC bringing affordable communications to businesses and organisations in the region.
   Telstream Telecoms has access to a network of installers on the ground in the region to allow for economical and efficient service and installations, all hardware is readily available for quick shipment.
