-- Keyondra is no stranger to the Gospel music audience. Her stellar alto voice is notably recognized as a member of the mega-talented Gospel troupe Zie’l. Zie’l burst into the Gospel industry and took the nation by storm with their customized remake of “Is My Living In Vain” by The Clark Sisters. Combining inspirations from their industry predecessors with their own unique, harmonic style the group harnessed a signature sound of their own. Having garnered enduring success as a member of Zie’l, Keyondra is ready to stake claim at personal territory in the industry.
The release of Soul Couture
, the mixtape, is Keyondra’s first solo effort. With ministry being her main focus, Keyondra finds it exciting to continue on in her first love, Zie’l, as she pursues yet another task from the Lord.
“This mixtape embodies the reworking of five mainstream songs assimilated into Christian songs to edify the soul. I’m always excited about music, but what’s most exciting at this time is that this is my first project without Zie’l. I definitely miss hearing our voices together and can’t wait for our next album. Moreover, it was a pleasure working with Jor’dan Armstrong and Ted Williams of “The Good Guys” production team. They’re great at what they do and I can’t wait to hear more from them in the future,” says Keyondra.
