Philadelphia, Pa, July 25, 2012- Philly Word Magazine will start the ball rolling the weekend of   Jay- Z’s “Made In America” tour, by hosting the Magazine’s Re-launch party on August 31, 2012 from 8p.m.- 2a.m. The Re-launch party will take place at Dave & Buster at Pier 19 ~ Philadelphia, Pa  19106. The night will be filled with several activities which will include, a silent auction, entertainment, various Philadelphia area industries VIP's, media, sponsors, and Philly Word New Team who was “Made In Philly”. Some of the other activities will begin earlier that day 5:00- 7:30 p.m., these events will shed light on our “Keep It Green” promotion and our youth “Young Ideas” showcase.

Continuing a tradition of honoring and showcasing the industry’s hottest stars in music, sports  entertainment, politics, and business from Philadelphia, Philly Word will continue to celebrate the culture of hip-hop and entertainment through informing, educating, empowering,  entertaining and interacting  with the Philadelphia tri-state and the global community.  Philly Word has help start journalism, entertainment, and photography careers of Philadelphia natives, while also covering some of the most exclusive interviews with entrenched players of the hip hop industry. Philly Word will continue to serve as a platform to all local talent who are looking “to be heard” and looking “to have a say” in the media.

We focus to preserve and interpret Hip Hop, by providing accessible and authoritative content as well as education ranging from our community’s youth, hip-hop artists, entertainment industry leaders and education advocates.”
