September 29, 2012 Proclaimed Antique Tractor Preservation Day By Missouri Governor Jay Nixon
Jeremiah W. (Jay) Nixon, 55th Governor of Missouri honors State’s Agriculture Heritage for a third consecutive year and West Plains “Tractors on the Square” event with official Proclamation.
WEST PLAINS, MO (July 29, 2012) – TheAntiqueTractorShow.com announced today that Missouri Governor Jeremiah W. (Jay) Nixon has awarded for a third consecutive year, an official Proclamation designating September 29, 2012 as ANTIQUE TRACTOR PRESERVATION DAY.
A first of its kind in the country, this Proclamation underscores the importance of educating about our agriculture heritage and the relevance of vintage farm machinery to its era.
