Starlett Miller Presents on Panel at LeadingAge Florida’s Annual Convention

July 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Starlett M. Miller, associate in the Tampa office of McCumber, Daniels, Buntz, Hartig & Puig, P.A., presented on a panel presentation titled “Hot Legal Topics in Long-Term Care” to attendees of LeadingAge Florida’s 49th Annual Convention.  Ms. Miller discussed recent court decisions impacting the use of arbitration agreements in long-term care facilities.  

Starlett Miller is an associate at McCumber Daniels focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation, long-term care defense and medical malpractice defense.  In addition, Ms. Miller develops educational programs for the firm’s clients and their industries regarding new developments in the law and strategies for minimizing liability.  She is a graduate of the Florida State University College of Law and licensed to practice in the courts of the States of Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as the United States District Courts for Florida and the United States Bankruptcy Courts for Florida.  Ms. Miller serves the Florida Health Care Association as a member of its Legislative Committee.
