Following rave reviews in New York City, "A magically unforgettable and emotionally charged evening!", says PositiveLite.com, Bauer is making a special appearance in support of the XIX International AIDS Conference here in Washington, DC.
Beyond Belief is being performed tonight, July 26, 2012, at the Westin City Center's National Ballroom (1400 M Street, Washington DC) at 8 pm (doors open 7:30 pm). Admission is free to the general public, however seating is limited. Special guest appearances will be made by Mary Bowman (poet), Jeromy Dunn (Poz I Am Radio) and Timothy Ray Brown (first and only person to be cured of AIDS). This special performance is made possible by the support and generosity of JustGetTested.com and AIDS 2012 Reunion. Defying the odds of stigma, family struggles, addiction, suicide attempts, HIV treatment adherence and much more, "Daniel Bauer is triumphant over unimaginable fears," says Robert Breining, Founder and host of Poz I Am Radio. "I am liberated and feel truly free now that I have found the courage to share a story which is like so many others in hopes of reshaping how society looks at people like me living with HIV / AIDS," says Bauer.
As the new face of HIV for JustGetTested and with his countless appearances as a keynote speaker at conferences around the nation, Bauer is on a passionate mission to encourage everyone to just get tested and to embrace personal, healthy sexual responsibility.
Beyond Belief is on tour for the remainder of the summer, and plans to return to New York City this Fall for an extended run.
"I am truly thrilled and honored to be here in Washington, DC in support of the XIX International AIDS Conference performing Beyond Belief! This show is my way of playing a part in breaking down stigma and sharing a message of limitless hope for all those affected by and/or living with HIV/AIDS."
Media is permitted into the show with cameras and video. Bauer will be available for interviews following a brief Q/A session with the audience and final encore performance. Please contact Jeromy Dunn at 704-488-9959 to schedule an interview or to reserve media seating.
