These do not necessarily need to be from previous employment, examples can come from education, sport, leisure, anywhere you feel that you have applied and developed these skills and attributes’.

‘The ultimate advice I can offer when applying for a job would be to be honest and add a little personality to your CV (not your entire autobiography!). Make sure you read through the advertisement thoroughly before applying and keep a note of what you have applied for- asking what the role is when you have already applied doesn’t look great! Finally, a spell and grammar check before submitting your application is a MUST and make sure you list various contact details, so if you are successful your potential employer can contact you easily!’
