Southern Michigan gun store holding grand opening in November

July 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Everyone is welcome to the scheduled opening in November, MI. There will be food, drinks and giveaways. CT Firearms is currently welcoming individuals to sign up now for current and future CPL/CCW classes trained by NRA Certified Instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer, Chris Furman.

The owners, Chris Furman and Tim Small are encouraging everyone to take advantage of the opportunity to get trained professionally in an not so ordinary and boring typical classroom setting. Classes take approximately eight hours and include three hours of range time instruction. Going above and beyond the teaching skills that are taught at other Calhoun county gun stores, you are sure to learn the basic and some advanced fundamentals of pistol shooting and protecting yourself inside your home.

When you are ready to buy that first gun or thinking about adding one to your collection, you will want to look over our selection of new firearms or try out any of our rental guns that interest you. Guns will be available online and at our two storefront locations which will cover Calhoun and Eaton Counties. Simply make sure you have a preferred FFL dealer and their license number available for shipment.

Chris Furman has work in several fields of interests including outdoor landscaping, transportation and working for an agency in the Government. Currently in his mid 30's, an active NRA and MCRGO member, he decided to start a gun store business with his good friend Tim Small who owns a small farm and houses the originating location for CT Firearms. A second location is still in the works and will be opening in the spring of 2013 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan which will offer CPL Training classes as well as firearms and accessories.
