Heidi McCorkle of the Vein Guys Receives Registered Phlebology Sonographer Certification.

July 24, 2012 - PRLog -- The Vein Guys announced today that Heidi McCorkle, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), earned her Registered Phlebology Sonographer certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.  

The Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) certification, established in 2010, is the most specialized credential a vein sonographer can earn.  While there are credentials that recognize special skills of individuals performing vascular ultrasound examinations, such as RVT, the RPhS focuses on expertise in phlebology ultrasound.  “This certification is important to me because it recognizes my dedication to the field and the additional training and knowledge I’ve gained over the past seven years working in the sub-specialty of veins and vein disease,” Ms. McCorkle said.
