Sevis 6000 Series to Expand Precision Timing with Support of Russian GLONASS
Sevis Systems announced support for the Russian Navigation Satellite System GLONASS for clock synchronization. This enhancement is designed to enable the delivery of reliable backhaul optimization for mobile operators within Russia and CIS.
"Sevis strives to offer solutions meeting all our international customer's requirements. GLONASS is a significant enhancement enabling our backhaul customers to deploy systems that work with all available global navigation standards. GLONASS is a fully operational and worldwide navigation system providing mobile operators an option to GPS.” said Mike Ashdown, Chief Technology Officer.

As an additional benefit, the 6000 Series is designed to support additional upcoming navigational satellite constellations including Galileo in Europe and the Beidou navigation system in China through a simple software upgrade.
