Pit Bulls “Up In Smoke” BBQ Team Prepares for the 9th Annual Foothills Country Fair

July 23, 2012 - PRLog -- As another weekend approaches, and having had a previous weekend off, Pit Bulls “Up In Smoke”, proudly sponsored by Royal Oak Charcoal (www.royal-oak.com) and Moore’s Marinade (www.mooresmarinade.com), gears up for the 9th Annual Foothills Country Fair slated to take place from July 26th – 28th, 2012 at the Tri-State Exhibition Center located in Cleveland, TN.

Aside from the KCBS Sanctioned BBQ Competition (www.kcbs.us)  there will also be events including a Carnival, Concerts, Beauty Pageants, Cultural Arts Contests, 4-H Poultry Show, Antique Tractor Show, Lawn Mower Racing, Dog Show, Demolition Derby, Various Animal & Livestock Exhibits, and more. Pit Bulls “Up In Smoke” is looking to redeem ourselves after our last competition set us humbly in the middle of the pack, finishing 22nd Overall at Tryon, NC.  Unfortunately, at one point or another, we all have “those cooks” that just don’t quite turn out the way we would hope or expect them to.  So, this weekend we plan to come on strong gaining back some of what we lost at Tryon, NC. (That’s our plan anyway.)  Redemption!  We will see what Cleveland holds for us – this being our first year competing at the Foothills Country Fair.  We are very excited to be part of the event and having the opportunity to showcase our sponsors, Moore’s Marinade and Royal Oak Charcoal in Pit Bulls style.
