Weekend Matches To Decide Who Makes It To San Diego Finals Showpiece

With less than a week until the start of the National Premier League Soccer (NPSL) National Championships begin in San Diego, three of the final four conference champions are yet to be decided.
 
July 21, 2012 - PRLog -- The final make-up of the National Premier League Soccer (NPSL) National Championships - hosted by the San Diego Flash Soccer Club - will be determined today when the West, Northeast and Midwest Conference Champions are decided.

Round two of the NPSL playoffs kick off today with three games set to determine who will join Conference South Champion Chattanooga FC from Tennessee in San Diego next weekend, July 27-29.

This weekend’s matches include;

Northeast: Sonic FC Vs. New York Red Bulls Academy U23s
Midwest: Cleveland AFC Vs. Madison 56ers
West: Bay Area Ambassadors Vs. Sonoma Sol.

Chattanooga FC advanced to the NPSL final with a 1-0 win over the Georgia Revolution last Saturday.

The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) consists of 49 teams and is the top developmental league in the United States. The league was founded in 2002 to promote youth, amateur and professional soccer. The NPSL Championship weekend will be a 'Final Four' style, 3 day event. Winners of four Conferences of the 49 teams nationwide will earn their way to San Diego through playoffs which start nationwide this weekend.
