Follow on Google News | Digital Multimeter Smart Tweezers ST-5A Digital LCR Multimeter integrated with tweezers to make any work involving Surface Mount Devices as easy as possible.
Smart Tweezers take a traditional LCR multimeter and combine it with a set of high precision tweezers to create an innovative tool best used for sorting, identifying and evaluating Surface Mount Devices, as well as troubleshooting and debugging PCBs easy with just a touch. By simply touching a SMD component, Smart Tweezers can automatically detect what type of component it is, as well as measure Inductance, Capacitance, and Resistance. With the ability to test components without the need of wire leads, Smart Tweezers also make testing, debugging and troubleshooting pre-mounted devices more time efficient. Smart Tweezers boasts automatic component identifying marked and unmarked components, including ceramic and through-hole components. ST also features automatic LCR measurements, as well as customizable settings for better accuracy, such as test frequencies, designated ESR measurements and storage for automatic offset subtraction. When a value is stored for automatic offset subtraction, such as parasitic impedance, the device will automatically subtract the value from the measurement result. Other features included on the Smart Tweezers device include diode and polarity testing, best used for continuity testing. Smart Tweezers also warn the user when a circuit is open or measurement is below threshold. Features are effortlessly selected and changed with Smart Tweezers navigation button. Some settings, like changing which hand to use the device with can be changed in the menu, while others, like test frequencies, can be changed straight on the home screen. Smart Tweezers arrive pre-calibrated and come with an Li-Ion battery that charges by USB. A hard shelled case is also included for safe travelling. Smart Tweezers are the foremost needed tool for any production line, or any job that requires Surface Mount Devices. About Siborg Systems Inc. Started in 1994, the main objective of the company is the development and production of different kinds of scientific software. We have more than 25 years of experience in computational physics and more than 17 years in semiconductor device modeling. In the last few years we have sold copies of the software package MicroTec to more than 17 companies and 75 universities in 25 countries, including Hitachi, General Electric, NTT, University of California at Berkeley and Waseda University in Tokyo. We have also developed SibLin: a 3D solver for Poisson/Diffusion/ We continue our work on ReSCu: Resident Scientific Calculator for IBM PC. This is one of the most easy-to-use and compact software of its kind. We also develop custom designed software tools. End
