July 19, 2012 - PRLog -- San Antonio, TX – Fantasy Author Brian Stanford is slated to release The Mark of Gomorrah; an apocalyptic series that follows the story of seven people destined to play a part in the end of the world. The fantasy series is getting some backlash from Christian organizations, who say that the book is blasphemous. The novel, which features Jesus as a character and depicts a world in which God has been missing for over 2,000 years, has always been marketed as a fantasy story. Yet, many devote Christians have railed against even the description of the novel, claiming that the author is anti-Christian and is promoting atheism.

Author Brian Stanford vehemently denies these claims, and has only promoted the book as pure fantasy. The book is liable to create some controversy once it hits Amazon and Kindle on 7/31/2012. Author  Brian Stanford is available for interviews and review request to any interested parties, and looks to dispel rumors of anti-Christian intention.
