Marketsaurus Launches Dictionary and Blog

Marketsaurus.com launches to provide marketers with a quick, comprehensive reference guide.

July 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Saint Louis, MO - Marketsaurus.com (http://www.marketsaurus.com) is officially open for use! The site was created in 2012 by Nelson Elliott to serve as an efficient, comprehensive resource for marketing practitioners and students. It currently contains a marketing dictionary and blog.

The site was conceptualized as a dictionary/encyclopedia with the simple goal of helping marketers quickly find relevant definitions. Many marketing terms are what the online marketing industry calls "money words," which incentivize SEOs and PPC arbitrageurs to attempt to load search results with editorials and advertisements. This can make finding a simple definition for a term used by a professor, boss, or client more difficult than it needs to be. Marketsaurus aims to provide these definitions with as little clutter and difficulty as possible.

A blog was rolled into the site concept to provide users with more in-depth analysis. The site has been structured so that blog posts and comments do not overwhelm dictionary users, but are quickly accessible if users are interested. Bloggers are being recruited from outside of marketing agencies and roles to discuss the marketing function from unique and sometimes contrarian points of view.

There are already over 100 definitions entered in the dictionary and several bloggers have already begun working. New content is being added almost daily.
