Community Health Charities of the Southeast Debuts in Alabama
Community Health Charities of the Southeast connects employees to health information, volunteer opportunities and the ability to give to Alabama's most trusted health charities. Free programs include Health Matters at Work and Volunteer Matters 365.
Free programs now available to Alabama employers include Health Matters at Work®, which provides 24/7 access to podcasts, webinars and other information from the nation’s most trusted health charities. The Volunteer Matters 365TM program offers companies a free, customized Volunteer Search Tool that allows employees to find volunteer opportunities by zip code. Community Health Charities of the Southeast also gives employees the ability to direct donations to the health charities of their choice through payroll deduction.
“With one of every four Alabama employees personally affected by health issues, the connections we offer are more valuable than ever before,” said Brenda Horne, CEO of Community Health Charities of the Southeast. “Our Regional Director, Erskine Hawkins, is ready to help Alabama companies enhance their health and wellness efforts.”
