National Internet Business Expands to Colchester

Motortrades.co.uk the online directory service for the UK motoring industry, based in Brentwood, have announced the opening of a new satellite office in Colchester to serve the East Anglia region.

Initially launched in 2007 to help the nation’s independent motor industry compete for business more effectively, MotorTrades.co.uk has grown quickly to its position as one of the UK’s most visited resources for the motoring sector with traffic now exceeding 40 million hits over the past twelve months.

The new office in the Weston Business Centre, Hawkins Road will initially accommodate a team of up to twelve sales staff representing the company’s brands MotorTrades.co.uk with ambition to grow the team to twenty or more by the end of the year. All staff will be drawn from the local region. The team will be supported by the company’s administration team based at their Brentwood HQ.

In June MotorTrades.co.uk welcomed Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government Eric Pickles to their Brentwood HQ. Mr Pickles took a tour of the business and was very impressed with the company’s entrepreneurial spirit, stating:
