Immortality is not just something that the Roman gladiators dreamt of, it is something that the average British grandparent is now achieving through the internet. This is the brain child of two British guys who dreamt up the idea over a pub quiz, and are now helping people put their life stories on film for future generations to watch forever.

"All these moments gone, like tears in the rain."  Said Rutger Hauer in the cult classic film 'Blade Runner'.

The film discusses why our lives are so short. People have so much to offer in the way of history, and we are all guilty of looking at our senior citizens and seeing an 'old person' when in actual fact they very probably had impetuous dreams and ambitions, and many of these people achieved amazing things, and had colourful lives which is  sometimes difficult for the rest of us to see in their wizen faces today.

Chris Wright a veteran of the Media industry and Nick Murphy ex 80's band member, and now film maker, decided to create a website where people can document and archive their stories on video for future generations to see.
"I just find older people fascinating" Chris told us:
"When you dig a little deeper they have some amazing adventures the kids today daren't dream about, escaping from Stalag camps, travelling the world, making movies, sailing on board ocean steamers, and fighting crime to mention a few stories that we have heard, is not just for film stars, there are still some people left to tell the real stories"

"We decided why not just get them to tell us what they got up to, and  to share some stories we would all find exciting and interesting and put it on film so that their families, and future offspring they may have not met yet, can know who they were, and who they have descended from, and the internet population at large can see what our older generations were doing when they were young. Then perhaps we could all learn a thing or two from our elders.

We film, produce an edit their video after a few hours of chat, and interlace it with photos they may have, and we create a documentary film of their lives, we then put it on a DVD and or on the internet for eternity, so generations ahead can actually 'meet' their ancestors, all our video subjects have to do is tell us an interesting 'time of their lives', we do the rest.

We then met up with  Netmediauk Limited who was instrumental in our web design and marketing . 'Tigoby' which is short for 'Times Gone By' and our new http://www.tigoby.co.uk  is live and telling some tales of old for all to see.

The 'baby boomer’s'  is a term for the generation of people born after World war two up to the advent of the contraceptive pill in the sixties, and is recognised as the largest movement of people coming of age ever seen in the West. People talk of the swinging sixties and the hippy movement, which was so prevalent at the time, is partly due to the fact that there was more 20 year olds in the 1960's then any other age group at the time, they were tired of wars and rations they were brought up on, so they were an interesting ilk who rebelled against the state and changed the culture of the human race forever.

The Baby boomers are all starting to retire now and  in the next twenty years. These people climbed trees and walked to school, and played out all day, they are bound to have some better stories to tell and share online, than the kids of today ever will.
