GLVADA announces opening of Gala Beneficiary Application Process
GLVADA opens 2012-2015 Beneficiary Application Process for the annual Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show Gala
Child-focused organizations in the Lehigh Valley are invited to apply to become the beneficiary of the 2013, 2014 and 2015 galas.
• Have a strong and direct focus on children and children’s programs
• Be a 501(c)(3) organization
• Be headquartered in the Lehigh Valley
• Have a dedicated development office and staff
• Possess experience in planning and executing large fundraising events
“We hope many organizations take advantage of this open application period,” GLVADA Board President Richard Salezze said. “This process gives GLVADA an opportunity to work with local, child-focused nonprofits to provide for children in need. We are eager to partner with an organization dedicated to the same goal.”
The previous beneficiary of the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show Gala was the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital’s Pediatric Unit.
“GLVADA donated a total of $75,000 to Good Shepherd over the last three years, which helped them provide even better care and services to children with disabilities or illnesses,” GLVADA Executive Director Tom Kwiatek said. “It was a pleasure working with such a great organization.”
To be considered, the application must be received by GLVADA no later than Aug. 24, 2012. For questions, please contact Tom Kwiatek at 610-758-9691 or email@example.com. For more information, visit glvada.org/gala
The Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association was formed to invest in the great place where we live and work by stimulating regional auto sales and supporting selected nonprofit organizations. GLVADA, a nonprofit association of more than 40 local dealerships, benefits the local economy by encouraging car buyers to shop in the greater Lehigh Valley. This, in turn, spurs job creation, business growth and increased municipal revenue. GLVADA contributes 50 percent of its annual proceeds to nonprofit organizations and funds auto tech scholarships for area students.
