Akadema Endorser Chad Beck Was Called Up To The Majors

July 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Hawthorne, NJ – July 16, 2012 – Akadema endorser Chad Beck was called up to the Majors by the Toronto Blue Jays.  Beck, 27, attended Louisiana-Lafayette College, and was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 14th round of the 2006 First-Year Player Draft.  In 2011, he pitched in 3 games, with 2.1 innings pitched, let up 1 hit, and 3 strikeouts.  For his career, he has pitched in 6 games, with 7.2 innings pitched, with 7 strikeouts.  Also in 2011, he split the rest of the season between Dunedin (A), New Hampshire of AA, and Las Vegas of AAA.  He made his MLB Debut on September 13, 2011 at Boston, where he faced Dustin Pedroia, and retired him with just one pitch.  Beck is part of Akadema’s endorsement team.
