Stuff The Waggin’ Train At Funtasticks Family Fun Park

July 13, 2012 - PRLog -- TUCSON, AZ – Spend Saturday with the family and help out the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.

Funtasticks Family Fun Park will host the first Stuff the Waggin’ Train event.  Similar to a ‘Stuff the Bus’ event, the Humane Society of Southern Arizona’s Waggin’ Train will be on site, ready to be filled with much needed pet food.

According to the Humane Society, it takes approximately 150 pounds of pet food per day to feed pets waiting for their forever homes.


DATE:  Saturday, July 21, 2012

TIME: 10 am – 5 pm

MOST NEEDED ITEMS:
Canned Puppy and Kitten Food (Chopped or Pate)
Canned Dog and Cat Food (Chopped or Pate)
Dry Food for Dog, Cat, Puppy and Kitten
KMR Kitten Milk Replacer
Esbilac Milk Replacer
Peanut butter (plain, unsalted) for Kongs
Dog Biscuits (no dyes) & Cat Treats

Funtasticks Family Fun Park will give a free round of mini golf to the first 100 donations.  Participants donating 2 cans of pet food will receive $2.00 off a 2 or 3 hour wristband.  

“This event is really about helping animals in need and to help members of our community” according to Erica Chavez, Funtasticks’  Sales and Marketing Manager.

Stuff the Waggin’ Train is being held in conjunction with the Dog Days of Summer Pet Food Drive.

ABOUT DOG DAYS OF SUMMER PET FOOD DRIVE
