Author Christopher Dawson Offers a Brilliant Anti-Neocon Document

“We the People, Servants of Deception: Reconsidering Social Reality,” exposes inconsistencies and deceptions in “conventional” portrayals of our American experiment in democracy.

July 11, 2012 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, N.C. –  Using the principles and tools of sociology presented in his university course, Chris Dawson challenges the reader to reconsider the social reality of our society in his eminently readable and hard-hitting volume We the People, Servants of Deception: Reconsidering Social Reality.

The book exposes inconsistencies and deceptions in the conventional portrayal of America’s experiment in democracy. His provocative social commentary explores the role of our military, the culture of fear, strategies in the war on terror, the excesses of corporate power, and our misconceptions about crime. He speaks of social inequality, social and racial group divisions, offering unconventional views about education, medicine, universal healthcare, and the origins of religion. The doubts he raises will merit your serious reflection.

Chris Dawson has come up with a text that deconstructs neocon thinking, brick by brick, in the body politic.  With more writers of his caliber coming to the fore, true, lasting change may be effected on American society – a society that is on the cusp of fulfilling perhaps its most relevant role in history.
