It’s only a matter of time before the iPad takes over the world!

This article talks about how much people need the ipad and that our life’s have become dependant on it, the article also states that it is only a matter of time before the ipad takes over the world.
July 10, 2012 - PRLog -- In many sectors digital dictation services provide the helpful means of recording and storing voice in a digital format.  Digital dictation devices have gone from large hand held devices to mere apps on our smart phones and tablets.
With our ever-developing devices the ease of digital dictation services are becoming accessible from our most commonly used phones and tablets.
Most people cannot live without their iPads today and so by offering digital dictation apps for transcription services it makes things a lot easier.
Whether it’s for legal or note taking purposes, digital dictation services are needed for a variety of professions. They are used by doctors, courtrooms and even architects.
Especially within the legal market where many solicitors are providing their customers with iPads to monitor record and store dictations on. As a development from mobile dictation, the iPad seems to have taken over the sector of digital dictation which had previously boomed in mobile phones.
Many companies are offering their customers iPads which they can keep after their claim has ended as an incentive to use their companies.
The development of many dictation apps leaves people spoilt for choice. Most devices now have speech recognition technology and so can provide transcription services.  Though their accuracy varies, the iPad is home to many great dictation apps that are suitable for various professions such as legal and medical.
The accuracy of transcription also depends on the quality of the app that you use, some are even free of charge to download.
Philips have launched a transcriber app for iPhones and iPads which uses a wireless connection and works with an enterprise suite to allow its users to monitor, edit and remove dictations.
A plus side to this development is digital dictation technology becomes easier to use with touch screen controls and a special device is no longer needed for recordings. As a portable device, the iPad also allows dictators to record and edit their transcriptions from any location and all you need is the internet. It can be used whenever it is needed and recordings are made and stored on the same device that is used for meetings and though some would argue that digital dictation apps do not meet the match of traditional transcription you cannot deny that it makes things a whole lot easier. It also allows a decrease in admin and paperwork costs for organisations, wherever and whenever you want.
What can’t the iPad do? Some would say it’s only a matter of time before the iPad takes over the world!
