July 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Ron Stewart, from the famed St. John's University 1985 NCAA Final Four Basketball Team (Tri-Captain with Chris Mullin and Bill Wennington, under legendary basketball coach, Lou Carnesecca) returns to New York City to conduct his first annual international basketball camp.  This long-anticipated basketball camp will be attended by 22 French boys and girls and approximately 15 American youth from the ages of 9-14 years old.

For over the last thirty years, Mr. Stewart has used basketball as a vehicle that has driven him to obtain an undergraduate collegiate education through a basketball scholarship at St. John's University to a Master's Degree as a graduate assistant with the Men's basketball team at St. John's University.  Mr. Stewart later moved to Paris, France and learned a new language and culture while playing, coaching and now managing a professional team, the PARIS-LEVALLOIS (Pa-Ree - Le-vAL-wah) Basket Club, First Division, in France.

Mr. Stewart is credited for his coaching skills for two USA Professional Basketball Athletes: Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs and Joakim Noah, Chicago Bulls.

Ron Stewart is also the founder and President of the Ron Stewart Basketball Progress (RSBBP), a non-profit organization based in Paris, France that enables young people who are passionate about the game to excel and use the game as he has done in his life.

Mr. Stewart has dedicated himself to helping young children equip themselves with the necessary skills and work ethic to be successful adults on the basketball court and, more importantly, off the court.
