July 9, 2012 - PRLog -- 1) Enter In To The New "Circle of Sand"
One of the newest additions to Ayers Rock Resort is a daily opportunity to get up close and personal with the locals at the Circle Of Sand. Join Indigenous storytellers as they share about the "outback survival kit" including desert foods, ancient remedies and weapons such as hunting spears and boomerangs.

2) Dine Under The Outback Sky
Ayers Rock Resort's newest dining experience, Tali Wiru, is an intimate, open-air restaurant for up to twenty guests that successfully captures the magic of fine dining under the Southern Desert sky. As the didgeridoo serenades, watch the sun go down over Uluru and then take a seat for a romantically lit, outback exclusive experience you'll never forget.

3) Take An Indigenous Art Class
For years, Australia's Red Center has been world-renowned for its local art and artisans. So why not meet the masters themselves? With the help of the Voyages Indigenous staff at the Mulgara Art Gallery, create inspired work of Aboriginal art? For children, free classes are offered daily at Ayers Rock Resort.

4) Treat Yourself at the Red Ochre Spa
Rejuvenate you mind, body and spirit with a decadent Bathing Ritual, one of the Red Ochre Spa's many signature and locally inspired treatments. Aboriginal wisdom celebrates water as a renewing and life-giving force. Your bath will feature a selection of ingredients designed to capture the power of nature to nurture, feed and heal the whole person.

5) Dance With The Wakagetti
Wakagetti, meaning "Dance", will open your mind and heart to Indigenous culture through a dance performance. Hear how the didgeridoo got its western name and learn of its heritage. Men in the audience are invited to join in a Kangaroo dance and for the ladies, an Emu dance.

6) Make Friends With An Outback Camel
With the largest population of wild camel in the world, a trip to Australia is not complete without a ride on this noble beast. So why not pay a visit to the Camel Farm or book a guided camel tour to experience much the Red Center's dramatic landscape and discover the outback on camel-back.

7) Experience The Predawn Red Center
Join Desert Awakenings and travel away from the crowds to a secluded sand dune to watch the spectacular sight of sunrise over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. As the sun rises, enjoy some Billy tea and damper (outback breakfast) as you sit around the campfire and take in the sights and sounds of Australia's Red Center.

8) Fire Up The Grill!
An absolute must for anyone wanting to feel like an Aussie pioneer, enjoy an evening with Do-It-Yourself Barbeque located at the Outback Pioneer. Kick back, relax and enjoy the nightly entertainment. Share stories at the communal tables and let loose—you are in Australia's Outback after all!

9) Take A Scenic Flight
One of the best ways to explore the Red Center and experience Uluru and the stunning Kata Tjuta formations is from the sky. Whether by helicopter or plane, your bird's eye view will take you around this magnificent red desert, from Uluru the grand rock formations of Kata Tjuta--and even as far as the mysterious Mt Connor!

10) Sip Australian Wine At Sunset
On the Kata Tjuta & Uluru Sunset Tour, travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. On the way, stop at a lookout for a panoramic view of the southern side of Kata Tjuta. In the late afternoon, travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Witness and photograph the striking color changes of Uluru at sunset while enjoying nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine.
