July 8, 2012 - PRLog -- The Caribbean has many scuba diving sites that draw tourists year-round. One site, which is only recently drawing attention, is the island of Saba. When the island was formed by a volcano, the unique ocean floor surrounding this island was also created. Divers can explore both deep and shallow water, pinnacles and walls, and an amazing array of sea life.

Diving on the leeward side of the island is preferred, due to calm waters, but many experienced divers head to the windward side to catch a glimpse of the different marine creatures and take on the challenge of the wind and waves. Some of the popular dive sites include:
-   Custom’s House: A sandy area leads to a vertical drop.
-   Babylon: Shallow and sandy near the shore with ledges, lava flows, and a cave.
-   Tent Reef: A sandy slope that gently falls to deeper waters where large boulders lay and a mini-wall sits.
-   Tedran Reef: A multi-level site that starts shallow and deepens to where some large old anchors are partially hidden in coral. Beyond that is a vertical drop that makes a stunning wall.
-   Shark Shoals: Around 90 feet is a pinnacle, sloping to an outcrop, which drops to a deep sea bed.
