Prowave Media’s “Power Ng Pinoy” Wins The 33rd Annual Telly Awards

July 6, 2012 - PRLog -- NEW YORK CITY, NY – The Telly Awards has named Prowave Media as a bronze winner in the 33rd Annual Telly Awards for its TV Program “Power ng Pinoy ” under the Cultural/Documentary category.

Power ng Pinoy is a 30-minute weekly documentary TV program produced by Prowave Media ,LLC in partnership with GMA Pinoy TV. The show airs nationwide in US and Canada with subsequent re-airing in Europe, Middle East, and Asia.  The winning entry features the Power ng Pinoy episode about the inspiring story of Jessica Cox, a Filipino-American who was born without arms but is now an FAA-certified pilot.

A prestigious judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents.

This year’s  competition had 11,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries. The winners include companies, agencies and organizations of all sizes, from large multinational media companies to small ad agencies and local production houses.
