A ceremony to honor the life of Stephenie Glas will be conducted by Chumash Ceremonial Leader, Mati Waiya, in remembrance of her energy and courage as a firefighter, surfer, and conscientious voice of our community. The ceremony is scheduled for July 15, 2012 at 9 a.m. and is open to the public. We encourage the community to gather together at this event in celebration and healing.
