Autogas arrival drives home cheaper motoring in Needham Market

Paul Oxford, business development manager, Autogas, said: “If ever there was a time to switch to LPG then it must be now. Hard hit motorists have been faced with diesel and petrol prices going through the roof but if they are filling up with Autogas then they typically pay around half the price. Indeed, drivers filling up this week with LPG from the new site will pay 68.9 pence per litre compared with 130.9 for unleaded petrol.”

Other benefits include greener motoring as vehicles running on LPG emit far fewer of the harmful emissions associated with traditional road fuels that contribute to environmental and health problems.

Being a Shell site also means that Autogas drivers can enjoy the benefits offered by the Shell Drivers’ Club when they fill up, including money off Shell fuel and shopping vouchers.

The new Autogas refuelling station at Needham Market is part of an on-going expansion programme which will see Autogas add a further 20 sites to its UK network in 2012. Indeed, there are currently more than 1,400 LPG refuelling stations in the UK making it readily and easily available.
