Tap It Brewing Co. of San Luis Obispo Partners with Classic Distributing and Beverage Group

July 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Tap It Brewing Co. announced today that it has reached an agreement with Classic Distributing and Beverage Group Inc. to distribute its award winning line of American All Malt Ales throughout the Los Angeles area.

Classic Distributing and Beverage Group is a prominent Los Angeles County beer distributor with a leading portfolio and a dedication to focus on growth through solid execution of its brands.

Formed in 1978 as a brewery-owned operation, Classic Distributing and Beverage Group has become a profitable and recognizable force within the industry. The distributor will add the new Tap It Brewing American Standard Ale to its portfolio which was awarded a first place Gold medal in the Session Pale category at the 2012 Los Angeles International Beer Competition at the LA County Fair. The brewery's signature IPA earned a Bronze Award in the competition's American-Style India Pale Ale category.

Director of Sales at Tap It Brewing, Robert Garcia, stated, "We are thrilled to be on board with Classic. Our growth has been strong since we opened our brewery doors almost two years ago, but the addition of the Classic team is truly a milestone for us as we reach beyond our own backyard along the California Central Coast." The brewery also began distribution in Arizona earlier this year.

Tap It Brewing Co. currently produces an India Pale Ale, an American Pale Ale, an American Sessions Ale and a number of small batch craft brews at its 10,000 square foot production microbrewery just south of the San Luis Obispo (CA) eclectic downtown area. Prior to this announcement the San Luis Obispo brewery, which has been in operation since 2010, has become a staple of the San Luis lifestyle and now the brewery is spreading the cheer to more West Coast beer enthusiasts. This new relationship with Classic Distributing and Beverage Group will prove to dramatically increase availability.
