Come Inside at CoInside Collaborative Co-Working Space Opens in Houston’s First Ward Arts District

Nestled right in the heart of the First Ward Arts District bordering the hip Heights and Downtown Houston, CoInside opened its doors to Houston’s thriving  entrepreneur community on May 7th, 2012.  Housed in a historic landmark firehouse at 1919 Houston, the beautiful two story open space is Houston’s ideal collaborative, co-working, social gathering environment and ultimate creative haven. CoInside the brainchild of Cofounder’s Ky Wilson and Dr. Rosalind Wyatt, Ph.D. was created with the mission of providing an engaging and local spot for Houston’s small business community, independents, entrepreneurs, bloggers and the creative community in general. Ky & Rosalind have both said “The days of the innovative thinking Independent have emerged and we wanted to make sure that we provided an affordable and professional work space for these independents to enjoy and promote sustainability, entrepreneurship, diversity, transparency and accessibility in business practices.

The local co-working community can drop into CoInside for a daily rate with their DropInside@CoInside program or become Co-Members with a monthly rate that ensures a dedicated desk and mailing address. Workshops and seminars can also be held at CoInside. Business hours are 8:30am-6:00pm Monday-Friday. The venue is also available for events such live music shows,art showings, fashion shows,craft shows and more in the evenings and weekends. Staying true to their word of supporting local business, CoInside provides complimentary coffee/tea from local coffeehouse/roasters Boomtown along with complimentary WI-FI and art curated by all local artists from such esteemed art houses like MOCAH (Museum of Cultural Arts Houston). CoInside also believes in supporting the education of the small business community by hosting several workshops/seminars through the year with their in-house marketing/PR/event management team composed of Ky D.
