Second Annual “Best Animal Rescue Contest” Sponsored by Sound Earth

July 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Fishkill, New York, July 3, 2012 – Sound Earth, New York State’s only manufacturer of natural, pet-safe cleaning products, and recognized as a cruelty-free company, is sponsoring its second annual “Best Animal Rescue Contest” (BARC) – to start on Independence Day.

“Our 2011 contest was such a success, and the stories were so inspirational, Sound Earth is excited to sponsor this contest again.” said Ann LaGoy, Owner of Sound Earth. “Every day we commit to helping animals in need, and that includes donating a portion of every purchase made with us to animal rescue organizations. We continue raising awareness of rescued animals, and wish to inspire people to rescue animals within their own community. We selected Independence Day as contest’s launch date due to our strong belief that every animal deserves to be free from abuse and neglect.”

Contest entries can be submitted at www.soundearth.com/barc from July 4, 2012 through midnight July 31, 2012.  Contestants will be asked to share a photo of their rescued pet, along with a brief story on how the rescue took place.  A public voting session will begin August 1, 2012 and end August 15, 2012. The winner will be announced via the Sound Earth web site, and a variety of social networking sites, on August 20, 2012.

In addition to “bragging rights” for his or her rescued animal on the Sound Earth home page for the month of September, the contest winner will receive a $100 cash donation to his or her animal rescue organization of choice, and $50 worth of “bark notes” toward Sound Earth products.
