DC Boxer Thomas "KO" Snow Scores Fourth Round K.O. over Ernie Marquez

Boxer Thomas "KO" Snow scores a fourth-round knockout over Ernie Marquez on the Viva Don King II card in Hollywood, FL.

July 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Professional boxer and Washington, D.C. native, Thomas “KO” Snow (15-1-0, 9 KOs) defeated Ernie Marquez (9-11-0, 3 Kos) last week on the second edition of the “Viva Don King ” card at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL.

Known by his manager, Carl King and the rest of the Don King camp as “The Franchise,” Snow entertained the crowd with a good back and forth with Marquez for what was scheduled to be a six-round bout. During the first two rounds, both boxers traded punches and landed solid shots. In the third round, however, Snow took advantage of his speed and power delivering a blow to Marquez causing a cut above his right eye and continued to land shots that hurt Marquez numerous times.

In the fourth round, Snow closed the show with a devastating right hook to the chin of Marquez who was able to climb to his feet but the referee ruled he could not continue. The bout was stopped at 0:46 seconds of the fourth round.

As a recently signed boxer to Don King productions, this victory was a major defeat for the super bantamweight who weighed in for this bout at 112.5 pounds.  This win brings Snow to a record of 16-1, 10 KOs. When asked about his plans for the future in front of a crowd of more than 3,000 attendees, Snow challenged everyone in his weight class saying, “Everybody at 115 watch your chins.” Snow is now ranked 15th in the country.
