Give Back Monday at Chairs Coffee Will Give Back to Bloom Spokane's Scholarship Fund!

July 1, 2012 - PRLog -- This Monday Chairs Coffee, located at 113 W. Indiana, will donate 10% of their sales to Bloom Spokane’s Scholarship Fund. They are open from 7am to 9pm.

Bloom Spokane is a local non-profit building a better birth community in Spokane. One of Bloom Spokane's newest programs is a scholarship fund to support pregnant women who desire to take a childbirth education class or hire a doula. Bloom Spokane believes that women should have the support they desire for pregnancy, birth, and beyond regardless of their ability to pay. 100% of donations go directly to scholarship recipients and are tax-deductible. As a chapter of BirthNetwork National, Bloom Spokane provides many important services and programs to families in the Inland Northwest. They have an online and printed provider directory full of care providers that have pledged to offer mother-baby friendly care. Their monthly FREE Birth Options class has been educating women and their families about the full range of options surrounding birth. They also host a forum for Birth Professionals, have an active blog and an amazing collection of inspiring local birth stories. They regularly attend local family and health events to help spread the word about positive and safe birth in the Inland Northwest.
