-- Scottsdale, Arizona — The Fetch Foundation announces Sergeant, a German Shepherd surrendered by its owner last week has found a forever home. “I am so happy that Sergeant has found his way into this particular home.” Says founder Marie Peck “This particular pair is a great match and will both be starting Search and Rescue together. They have bonded quickly and I can already see that Sergeant loves his new home and his new job”
An evaluation performed by Cindy McArthur, Coconino County K9 SAR handler, followed by a training session, determined that Sergeant had a natural drive and scent ability that would serve well in Search and Rescue. “The best part is that I will get to see Sergeant and his handler and share all the success they experience with all The Fetch Foundation supporters.”
Shares Peck “Not only was Sergeant adopted by a Search and Rescue handler, but also a Fetch Foundation volunteer!”
