Radical Revolution will perform July 19 as part of the Bridgeport Village

June 29, 2012 - PRLog -- TIGARD, Ore.  – Hailed as the longest-running, most recognized 80’s tribute band in the United States, Radical Revolution, formerly known as The Breakfast Club, will perform live Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Bridgeport Village, Portland’s premiere shopping and dining destination, as part of the Bridgeport Village Summer Concert Series.

Performing hits originally covered by 80’s artists ranging from Van Halen to Cindy Lauper to Bryan Adams, Radical Revolution will keep the crowd rocking. Band members have shared the stage with numerous music legends Whitesnake, Poison, Hootie and The Blowfish and Edwin McCain. Bridgeport Village guests are invited to enjoy the free performance from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. under the giant gazebo in the center of Bridgeport Village.

“Last week center court was packed full of shoppers enjoying summer, sunshine and great music,” said Sarah Sumpter, Marketing Manager, Bridgeport Village. “We’re excited to see the crowd drawn in this week by the fantastic 80’s covers songs performed by Radical Revolution.”

Taking place every Thursday through August 30, the free family-friendly concerts also feature a wine and beer garden, food and a large children’s play area. A portion of food and drink sales from the concerts series will be donated to The Foundation for Tigard-Tualatin Schools Bridging the Gap campaign. Donations to the Foundation may also be made at each concert. Local youth acts from the Tigard-Tualatin School District will once again be warming up the crowd every Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

The 2012 marks the sixth season for the exceptionally popular Bridgeport Village Summer Concert Series.
