June 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Do you have kids in your community that are hungry? Feeding the 5000, Inc. can help!  Our summer program is currently serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for local organizations around the greater Kansas City area that visit their facilities.  The service is FREE and open to children that are of school age.

In 2010 when we became a nonprofit organization, Feeding The 5000 was charged to help launch a feeding campaign that would touch youth in the areas of Nutrition. Technology. Education.

The community collaboration and support has been amazing!! Since our campaign, we have touched over 25,000 youth who have benefited from our programs.

Feeding The 5000 has set a new standard for nonprofit collaboration and was recently praised by Councilman Jermaine Reed as an organization that is needed throughout the districts in Kansas City.
