Tea Monkey Wows Customers at their Milton Keynes Cafe

June 29, 2012 - PRLog -- The team at Tea Monkey in Milton Keynes were delighted to receive an award this week from Trip Advisor for outstanding customer service and feedback.  Tripadvisor awarded the 4.5 rating based on the consistently high ratings from customers and delivered the award to the team based in the Midsummer Place store.

Managing Director, Tracey Bovingdon stated  'the  team at MK are so proud and very grateful to all of the customers that made the effort to comment on Tea Monkey MK service”.  “The Tea Monkey team prides itself on providing a really personal service and have a passionate commitment to all of its customers…..this award is a real credit to all of the staff there”.

Tea Monkey launched its first store in Midsummer Place in March 2011 and since then has worked hard to compete with the coffee boys.  As an independent British brand it has been tough to sit alongside the American giants like Starbucks and other corporate brands like Costa and Prets.  “Tea Monkey hope that people will choose us because it provides something a little different and  genuinely care about custmer service” said Tracey….”Tea Monkey  is the original Chatroom with a mission to get people to sit and talk over a good cuppa. Sadly with texts and Facebook sometimes real conversation gets lost”

Tea Monkey apparently sell as many lattes as English Breakfast Tea and have also won awards for their Coffee and Hot chocolate from the Beverage Standards Association.  “it is important that customers have as much choice as possible and therefore Tea Monkey also stock a good range of gluten free items too so customers can have Tea Monkey cake and eat it”.

It is easy for any business to tell you how great they are but the acid test is what customers really think and this award from Tripadvisor speaks for itself.  Well done Tea Monkey – it’s great to see a local business getting it right.
