Virata Gamany Advises on Avoiding Real Estate Investment Scams

June 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Kuala Lumpur, MY, June 25, 2012 – Virata Gamany has been asked many times to share his real estate investing knowledge in a number of different forums. Recently, this included sharing some pertinent tips with income property investors about how to spot and address five different types of real estate investment scams.

Class A Management, a Dallas property management firm, asked Gamany to contribute to its daily blog by providing information on the most common types of investment scams with which many investors can find themselves faced.  These five scams include: equity stripping, land banking, equity flipping, foreclosure scams, and Ponzi scams. Gamany then provides some saving grace tips on how investors can help diminish the level of risk to which they’re exposed.

“Any investor can find him or herself the victim of a scam,” says Gamany, “but often it’s those who don’t have much real estate investing experience. I always try to emphasize to any investor the importance of education, informed decisions, and working with people who really know the industry inside and out, who will keep the investor’s best interest as central focus.”
