The Unity Rally, Inc. to kick off their Get Fit - Weight Loss Challenge on June 23, 2012

Conyers, Georgia, May 25, 2012) – The Unity Rally, Inc. has partnered with LA Fitness of Conyers, American Professional Institute of Decatur, and De’Vonne Entertainment of Metro Atlanta to host The Unity Rally’s Get Fit - Weight Loss Challenge.

The 8 week Challenge, scheduled to kick off at 2pm on June 23, 2012, is open to all residents of Rockdale, and surrounding counties.  It promises to provide the first 200, registered, participants with the opportunity for: Eight (8), Saturday, seminars with healthcare professionals who will give valuable information for developing, and keeping, a healthy body; Eight (8), Saturday, Aerobic Workouts facilitated by Certified & Licensed Fitness Trainers; Before and after blood pressure and glucose Level screenings; an 8 week Gym Membership with LA Fitness, and much more; to be offered by additional Challenge sponsors.

Rockdale County’s Chairman and CEO, Richard A. Oden, expressed that “This is an excellent opportunity for the residents of Rockdale County to focus on their personal physical health!”  He feels that good health is very important, because when you feel good, you tend to function at your best.  Mr. Oden has endorsed, and is taking part in, Get Active Rockdale; a program, for Rockdale County Employees, focused on overall better health through diet and exercise.  Mr. Oden plans to attend Kick-off day, of the Get Fit - Weight Loss Challenge, and to also join in with the participants on additional days throughout the 8 week Challenge!
