Brian Krebs to Keynote Midwest Information Security Forum
IANS will welcome Brian Krebs, journalist and author of the Krebs on Security blog, as the keynote speaker for the Midwest Information Security Forum scheduled for Sept. 10-11, 2012 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown in Chicago, IL.
With nearly two decades of experience in information security, Krebs brings significant depth of expertise and knowledge to share with Forum attendees. His career accomplishments include authoring more than 1,300 blog posts for the Security Fix blog, as well as hundreds of stories for washingtonpost.com and The Washington Post newspaper, including eight front-page stories in the dead-tree edition and a Post Magazine cover piece on botnet operators. He is currently an active blogger, authoring numerous stories focused on online crime investigation, latest threats, security updates, data breaches, and cyber justice.
